Visual artist based in Berlin, Katia Vonna Beltran proposes real-time performances using a tiny Live Cinema Factory named Yvonne the Object Theater. Before this, she was working as a photographer and movie maker evolving in different fields of street art. Her process is object-oriented and uses analogic tools and materials including everyday objects, papers, photographs, optics and lenses all mixed in real-time with a Vjing software to produce both optical illusions and visual effects to serve storytelling. Her last creation, based on Paul Virilio's philosophy "Is somewhere an alternative path?" focuses on the world's enclosure, globalization and velocity. The main idea is to create a tiny alternative world with both ancient and present tools. Graduated in anthropology, humanity has always taken an important part in her work.
